The superior rooms were completely renovated in early 2021. The rooms are located on the 1st floor, have high ceilings >3m with chandelier, original wooden floors and feature large windows with extra front glazing. All comforts are present, with luxury finishes. The bathrooms are finished with marble tiles and walk-in shower.
Rooms feature a king-size bed, fridge, espresso machine, desk and safe.

Who is paul cauchie?
Paul Cauchie (1875-1952) was a Belgian architect, painter, decorator and a leading representative of the Art Nouveau style. He studied at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp, where he initially focused on painting and decorative arts. He later found his vocation in architecture, integrating his artistic background into his designs.
One of his most famous works is the Maison Cauchie in Brussels, built in 1905 as his personal home and studio. A masterpiece of art nouveau, the house is best known for its beautiful sgraffiti, a decorative technique that involves applying figures and patterns to the facade.
Cauchie specialised in this technique and applied it not only to his own home but also to numerous other buildings, creating a unique signature in the architectural world.
His work combines aesthetics with functionality, using flowing, organic lines and detailed decorative elements, characteristic of the Art Nouveau movement.
Although his work was initially underappreciated, his influence in Belgian architecture and decoration has been increasingly recognised since the 20th century. Maison Cauchie is now a protected monument and serves as a museum, where visitors can learn about his life and oeuvre.
